Indiana State Police have interviewed hundreds of people, including possible witnesses, suspects and anyone who may have information about suspicious activity on the day the girls went missing. Despite having a video, audio, and two sketches from potential witnesses in the area, investigators have yet to find the man responsible for their murders. An additional plea was made for help in identifying the driver of a vehicle left abandoned off the Hoosier Heartland Highway in Delphi, at the former Child Services office, between noon and 5 p.m. Police documents seen by The Sun, which are heavily redacted, do not make any mention of the Delphi case but do link him to the anthony_shots social media account. The profile, called anthony_shots, was active between 2016 and 2017 across a number of social media platforms, including Instagram and Snapchat, police said.

Mike Patty said he sometimes gets criticized for being so supportive of law enforcement. He admitted he gets frustrated, saying he "never thought we'd be here five years and not have resolution." The inseparable friends spent their last night alive having a sleepover at Libby's house, Becky Patty said. Since then, no other potential suspects have been named by investigators. Libby and Abby’s deaths quickly became an unsolved mystery that was thrust into the national spotlight. They also say they now believe that the second sketch is a more accurate depiction of the suspect, although the actual suspect may likely be a mix between both sketches.

Investigators have yet to find a match but a change in Indiana law may help in that regard. These would later be some of the only clues the police had at their disposal, and the enigmatic, blurred Delphi murders video continues to haunt the internet. A man was walking toward them, wearing jeans, a hoodie, and a coat, with his hands in his pockets. For unknown reasons, German took out her phone and recorded a brief video of the man — but German’s decision seekers nightmares proved prescient. The charges are unrelated to the murders of Abigail "Abby" Williams and Liberty "Libby" German. Authorities have not named Kline as a person of interest or a suspect in the double homicide.

The user of the “anthony_shots” profile, which was active in 2016 and 2017, “portrayed himself as being extremely wealthy and owning numerous sports cars,” police said. Investigators do have several key pieces of evidence in the murders from Delphi, including a video clip taken on Libby’s cell phone that detectives say she recorded “during possible criminal activity”. Investigators believe that the video shows the man responsible for Libby and Abby’s death. At this time no formal connection has been made between Chadwell and the murders in Delphi. Investigators have never shared any specific information about Libby and Abby’s murder and their cause of death has never been released.

They have not released any pictures of the Delphi murders scene. To date, more than 30,000 tips have come to the police and every one of those leads has been followed. There has yet to be a break in the case, although authorities believe it just takes one piece of the puzzle to solve the horrific Delphi, Indiana, murders. The pair of eighth-graders spent the afternoon posting photos of their journey on Facebook.
